We are committed to European manufacturing. We have our own factory in Spain where we assemble our 3D printers and scanners, as well as a 3D printing filament production centre. We manufacture Zowi, our first smart toy, in Poland. Our aim is for all of our devices to have an industrial ecosystem which allows them to be manufactured here in Europe. We know that this is the way to put ourselves at the forefront in terms of exporting quality products.

Towards the construction of a BQ ecosystem.

  • 2011

    Software development.

    One of our first steps as a company was to develop the software for our e-readers in Spain from scratch. This constituted the establishment of our company’s first pillar: software.

  • 2013

    A turning point.

    We began to work on the Aquaris E range, our first smartphones to be 100% designed and developed by us. A few months later, the Aquaris E5 became the most sold smartphone in Spain. Since then we have designed all of our products ourselves.

    We manufacture in Europe.

    We opened our own factory in Navarre to manufacture our 3D printers. We finally established our third pillar: our own software. In 2014 we also launched Witbox, our first product which was not only designed but also manufactured in Europe.

  • 2015

    100% European ecosystem.

    We continue moving towards our goal: to create 100% European ecosystems. We’ve now achieved that with out educational robot, Zowi. Designed in Spain, its mechanical parts are manufactured in Poland and its electronics are manufactured in Valencia. What’s more, the Zowi app and Bitbloq are developed in house.
